1. Soaking with seed dressing
First of all, we pickle the seeds from fungal spores and pathogenic bacteria. To do this, use a red disinfectant solution. Soak the seeds for 6 hours in the prepared solution.
2. Ground preparation.
We buy ready-made soil for succulents. We add additional components to it: it can be granite chips, fine gravel, coarse sand, shell rock or finely crushed red brick. You can also add small pieces of red clay. We mix the prepared soil for succulents and one of the above components in a 1: 1 ratio, add a few small balls of red clay. We thoroughly mix the soil prepared by us and disinfect it by steaming. To do this, put the soil in the oven and steam it there at the lowest power for about 30 minutes. The soil is ready.
3. Sowing.
We pour a drainage layer into the container for planting. It can be small expanded clay, gravel, crushed brick. The drainage layer should occupy a third of the volume of the container where the lithops seeds will be sown. Next, we fall asleep, prepared by us earlier, the soil. Then we prepare a solution for irrigation. We take 1 liter of boiled water 2 drops of the HB-101 preparation. Pour the finished solution into the pulverizer and use it to spray the surface of the soil until completely moistened. Strain the seeds through a folded paper towel and a cotton pad. Do this in a gentle, thin stream. Carefully remove the top disk so that the seeds do not stick to it. We take tweezers or a toothpick and very carefully lay out the seeds on the surface of the sowing container. We take a package and make a greenhouse. We place a container with lithops seeds inside the bag.
